Plot Summary
My Name the drama about Ji Woo, a young woman who tragically witnesses the brutal murder of her father, Donghoon, right outside their apartment. Whispers of police involvement and a late-night scoop from investigative journalist Cha Gi Ho only fuel Ji Woo’s desperation for answers.
Fate leads Ji Woo to Donghoon’s friend and work colleague, Mu Jin, who happens to be the head of the notorious Dong Cheon crime empire. Despite Donghoon being on Korea’s most wanted list, Mu Jin takes Ji Woo under his wing and trains her, imparting the skills needed to confront those responsible for her father’s death. Ji Woo takes on the undercover identity of Oh Ji Hye and joins the police force as a mole to seek out her father’s killer.
