Plot Summary
The King: Eternal Monarch about the story of The King Lee Gon, he is the King of the Kingdom of Corea. When he was young, he saw his father murdered by his uncle in front of him. The man was not Lee Gon’s own uncle. Lee Gon is also almost killed but Lee Gon is saved by a masked man. The man left behind an ID card with the name “Jeong Tae-eul”.
His uncle’s main target was a famous “flute” called the Manpasikjiok, which could allow its owner to travel between worlds and time. Due to a collision, the flute split in half. His uncle runs off with one half and Lee Gon gets the other half.
King Lee Gon meets a female detective named Jung Tae-eul, the woman in the ID badge photo that King Gun has been looking for. He keeps the ID badge with his picture on it that he found on the night of his father’s death…
