Plot Summary
Into the Ring the drama about the story of Goo Se-ra is a young woman who lives in the fictional district of Bukcheon, South Korea. She is known for her fiery personality and her strong sense of justice. After witnessing corrupt practices in her community, Se-ra decides to run for the district council seat to make a positive change in her neighborhood.
At first, Se-ra faces many challenges as a political outsider. She struggles to gain support from the community, and she has to deal with rival candidates who will stop at nothing to win the election. However, Se-ra’s persistence and determination begin to pay off as she gains popularity for her honest and straightforward approach to politics.
Along the way, Se-ra meets Seo Gong-myung, a civil servant who is dedicated to his work but is frustrated with the corrupt system he operates within. Se-ra and Gong-myung initially clash over their different approaches to politics, but they gradually develop feelings for each other…
