Plot Summary
Extraordinary You the drama follows the story of a high school girl named Eun Dan-oh, played by Kim Hye-yoon, who realizes that she is a character in a comic book world. She discovers that she has no control over her actions or fate, and her life is scripted to follow the comic’s plot. However, Dan-oh becomes aware that there are other characters in the story who are “extras” and have no awareness of their scripted lives.
Everything changes when she meets a nameless student, played by Rowoon, whom she calls “Number 13.” He is the only character who seems to have a sense of free will and is not bound by the comic’s plot. Together, they try to break free from the constraints of their predetermined lives and search for a way to change their fates.
As Dan-oh and Haru spend more time together, they fall in love, defying the comic’s storyline and the author’s intentions. This unexpected love story starts affecting the comic’s plot, causing disruptions in the fictional world. Other characters in the comic, especially the male lead Baek Kyung and the female lead Yeo Joo-da, also become aware of their scripted lives…
